Background

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) [the Commission] is mandated to conduct and/or supervise elections and referenda in Kenya. The Commission is specifically responsible for the registration of voters and updating the voters roll, delimitation of constituency and ward boundaries, regulation of the process of how parties nominate their candidates, registration of candidates for elections, voter education, resolution of disputes arising out of the nominations, and regulation of the amount of money used by candidates in an election among others.

Objective.

The objectives of the consultancy are to:

  • Enhance the overall corporate image of IEBC;
  • Enhance Commissions communication and message delivery skills; and
  • Promote public confidence in the electoral process and project a respectable corporate brand.
